FF/EMT Tony Alario to Receive Award

FF/EMT Anthony Alario will be presented a Individual Meritorious Coduct award at the annual Fire Fighter of the Year Awards on December 3 at the Hanover Theater in Worcester. Tony will receive his award for heroic actions at 71 Lake Street on January 5, 2009, at which time he rescued a man in a wheelchair from the hallway under heavy smoke conditions. Cogratulations Tony!

 

Mutual Aid to Ashburnham

On April 13, 2009 Group 1 responded with Engine 3 to 8 Highland Ave. in Ashburnham for a second alarm barn and house fire. Response was at 17:46 and they cleared at 19:54. Gardner worked on the second floor of the house.
